Pastoral Lands Board Members

The Pastoral Lands Board is a statutory based, representative Board enacted through the Land Administration Act 1997.  The Board has various powers and functions under Part 7 of this Act. 

The composition of the Board is set out under the Land Administration Act 1997 section 97 - Consitution of the Board, as follows:

A Chairperson:

  • Mr Roger O'Dwyer, Perth

Three Pastoral members:

  • Mr Peter Leutenegger of Napier Downs Station, Derby, Kimberley region

  • Mrs Leanne Corker of Red Hill Station, Ashburton Pilbara region

  • Mr Brett Crook of Goldfields Rangeland Services, Kalgoorlie, Goldields region

One person with expertise in the field of flora, fauna or land conservation management:

  • Mr Graeme Rundle, Perth

One Aboriginal person with experience in pastoral leases:

  • Mr Paul Baron of Cardabia Station, Carnarvon, Gascoyne region

A nominee of the Chief Executive Officer of the Department responsible for the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Act 2007:

  • Nominee to be appointed to represent the Director General of the Department of Agriculture and Food.

A nominee of the Chief Executive Officer of the Department responsible for the Land Administration Act 1997:

  • Mr Paul Rosair, acting Director General of the Department for Regional Development and Lands. 

Please note:  Board appointments recommended by the Minister for Lands to Cabinet were approved in mid-October 2009 for a term to 30 September 2010.
