Welcome to Pastoral Leases
From the 1 July 2009, the Pastoral Lands Board and Pastoral Land unit are now a part of the newly created Department of Regional Development and Lands.
The functions of the Pastoral Lands Board and the services of the Unit remain unchanged, however expect to see new opportunities for pastoral industry development through the direct relationship with the Regional Development portfolio and a stronger working relationship with the Department of Agriculture and Food (DAFWA).
The Minister for Regional Development and Lands, the Honourable Brendon Grylls MLA, and the Minister for Agriculture and Food, the Honourable Terry Redman MLA, are working together to strengthen the pastoral industry in Western Australia and to expand land and economic development options in the rangelands.
